Well the new car is back on the track! Finally. I can't thank Jerry enough for all the work he put into rebuilding this thing. I had next to no time to help him, so he did about 90% of all the work.

It was a short night. During hot laps, when we got up to speed, the car died. Turned out to be carburetor problems. By the time we got a new carb on the car, mother nature decided it was time to go home. It started raining and the races were cancelled. I hope this isn't someone or something trying to tell me that I'm not supposed to be racing again!

From what little I could tell, the new car feels great! It is a lot more solid than the last car. This time around, I have a Ford nine inch rear end in it with different gears and the little bit I was able to get on it before the carb problems, this is a very loose car. Jerry will have to do some adjusting with set-ups.
