To be perfectly honest, I have been slacking off (as you can tell) on updating my diary and at the time of writing this entry, it has been almost a month since I raced this night. I don't remember how the heat race went, but it wasn't good. I had to run the B feature again. I do remember finishing 2nd and transfering to the A and having to start in the last row right next to Jeff Coster. During the A, I do remember that for the first few laps there was not much in the way of openings because everyone was running 2 and 3 wide and there was no way to get through. A caution came out about 4 laps into the race and we then had to start single file. I was thinking that this might help by letting the cars spread themselves out a bit and I might be able to work my way up through the field. As I turned out, I missed the set up a bit and was not able to take advantage of the situation and ended up finishing 15th. Burned another spark plug wire and ended up running the last 2 or 3 laps on only 7 cylinders. That didn't help either. I don't know what is going on with my plug wires. Every night I melt the number 6 plug boot! This is getting old and has to stop!

I had to skip out on this night because I had to attend my niece's wedding reception. It was a fun night, but I would have rather been racing.
